What is Peer-Led Team Learning?
Students discuss course material in weekly small-group sessions, facilitated by a Peer Leader, a student who has done well in the course and has been trained for this role.
Course-specific Workbooks provide materials useful for discussion and collaboration, organize the content of the peer-led sessions, and provide content sequence for instructors. Workbooks also prepare Peer Leaders for the process of facilitation.
The Peer-Led Team Learning International Society (PLTLIS) publishes workbooks and other materials to support Peer-Led Team Learning. PLTLIS is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
